| Here are some points about the place: Most importantly, it’s ours! We can hold dances as often as attendance will warrant. The dance floor is approximately 43 feet by 63 feet. Ragon Hall’s floor (minus tables, chairs, stage, etc.) is about 50 feet by 55 feet. We installed a real wood floor over a one-half inch cork underlay, which we believe will provide the correct amount of cushioning for a pleasant dance experience. It is NOT an engineered wood or a laminate! There is paved parking with approximately 50 spaces BEHIND the building and inside a fenced lot. Entry for dances is at the rear of the building within the parking lot. The music, which we consider the best in the area, is the same as it has been for years. The sound system is as good or better than we had at Ragon Hall. We anticipate adding dances on additional nights and possibly Sunday afternoons, but we need to get Saturday and Thursday night dancing going and successful before we bite off any more. When you come out on Saturdays, let us know what you would like to have. As we add dances and schedule theme-night dances, they will be posted on this page. |
